Lenox is a thriving community with industry, small businesses and a good school. It is filled with warm and friendly people, many who do know the Lord. Every time I was in Lenox leading a Bible study at the nursing home or driving through it, there was a heaviness on my heart. Over time, God began to make it clear that He was calling us to go be another tool that He could use to bring the message of reconciliation to the people of Lenox.
To date, we have: 1) conducted a Cowboy Church each night before the rodeo; 2) conducted a community VBS; 3) started a Tuesday night Bible study, alternating weeks between children and adults; 4) began Sunday services beginning on Easter Sunday, 2010.
We are not sure yet what He has planned for us here, only that we are to go and follow Him, step by step. Pray that God will open doors and speak to hearts as we make ourselves available to Him. - Mitch
